Spring 2017 Fashion Wishlist

affordable fashion list for spring including plus size options

I wasn't sure whether I should title this a spring wishlist because I am actually pretty satisfied with my wardrobe as is and have been getting really creative repurposing clothing from previous seasons. But this is a list of a few dope items that would make great additions to my closet.

1. I've been seeing the aviator shades trend everywhere this spring and think they can really be stylish. I love this pink tinted pair from Nordstrom that borders the line of sunglasses and readers. They're cute and unexpectedly minimal. You can also get the popular vintage yellow tinted sunnies from Forever 21 here and the regular $10 aviator readers from H&M here.

2.  I've been obsessed with the bell sleeves street style trend since I first saw them pop up during fashion week. This pastel blue one is perfect for spring. (Unfortunately, I waited too long and this sweater has already sold out. Good alternatives are this white sweatshirt with a flounce hem, this light blue button up version with oversized sleeves, and this purple cropped sweater version here.)

3. This silver bomber jacket fr H&M is the surprisingly versatile piece we never knew we needed. It's minimal, edgy, and would make a great statement piece that could blend well into most wardrobes.

4. This metallic pencil skirt from Topshop really fits with the tumblr pink trend I can't seem to break from. It's so unexpected and will be fun to figure out how to style. Every season, I want to include an item that will take me out of my comfort zone; this definitely is one of them.

5. If you follow me on Insta, you'd know I only have two pairs of sneakers in my shoe rotation, both of which are Adidas. Would love to add this grey suede pair with them. They really give off a relaxed 90s feel that fits in with my overall mood this spring. Honestly though, I'm mainly in it for the gold detailing on the side. Get these for 30% off here.

6. I really fell for this GRLFRND denim mini skirt. The distressed hem and light blue shade definitely give a vintage worn-in feel. I'm imagining all of the chunky heels and retro tees this could be paired with. This H&M denim skirt is a more affordable dupe for less than $20.

7. Early 2000s, I used to rock stacked jewelry like nobody's business (not sure why I stopped tbh). This rose gold bangle set is under $25 and comes with a watch.

8. Recently, I've concluded that I'm a backpack girl (sorry, crossbody bags).  They're just more convenient and add a lot more sass to a look! This white textured rucksack from Aeropostale is perfect for spring and can keep my black vintage Coach backpack company.
