Purple Storm Piña Colada

If you're anything like me, you can't buy I don't know about you, but I can't buy tickets to go on much-needed vacations at free will. DIY a mini tropical vaca in less than 5 minutes. Cheers!

Ingredients

Piña Colada

  • bananas, ripe & frozen*

  • 1 C. pineapple, ripe & diced

  • 1 C. pineapple juice

  • ½ C. canned coconut milk

  • 3 C. ice

Purple Storm Base

  • 2 C. blueberries**, frozen

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • ½ C. canned coconut milk

Instructions

  1. Blend frozen blueberries and ½ cup coconut milk with 1 tablespoon honey. Once blended divide half into 4 cups (should fill 1 inch in bottom of glass.)

  2. Now blend frozen bananas, diced pineapple, pineapple juice, ½ cup of the coconut milk and ice together until smooth. Divide among the 4 glasses.

  3. Finally, pour the rest of the blueberry mix on top of the 4 drinks.

*To freeze bananas: peel the skin, slice and store in plastic bag for easy use!

**If you want to use another type of berry go right ahead:

  • Strawberries can be used to make a "Red and White Storm"

  • Yellow + Red Raspberries can make an "Orange Storm"

  • Or you can ditch the berries and enjoy a classic Piña Colada!
