Peach Basil Smoothie

I've been really getting inspired by smoothie recipes lately and this is just another one that I'm interested in trying out. I really like mango-themed smoothies, peaches shouldn't be too far off, right?

Ingredients

  • ½ C. 0% plain Greek yogurt*
  • 3 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 C. peaches, sliced & frozen
  • ½ banana, frozen & chopped
  • 1 lemon, squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon dill
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 C. white grape juice**


Instructions

Put all ingredients into blender. Blend until smooth and frothy. Pour... and voilà!

*Swap out traditional yogurt and hop on the Greek yogurt bandwagon!

**Can be swapped out for the more commonly found Orange juice.


All of the leftover smoothie can be poured into an ice-cube tray to make Ice Cube Smoothies, which is a yummy way to stay cool in the summer heat.
